Tula liked to tell of the days when he had defended the village from the cow theives the massai. Tula wanted Joseph to know what to do if the massai came again. One day Joseph said, the massai will not come again. No Tula boasted because they fear us. No Joseph said because cattle  raids are against the law. The Massai have not come in many years. Things have changed.
