Born in Kenya Leaky began looking

for early human remain in East Africa

He and his wife Mary found many tools 

bones and other artifacts. Even while working 

as a spy during World War II Leaky continand digging in his free time in later life he traveled all over the world, lecturing and raising founds for new research project.
