Migration 1

Animals may adapt to seasonal changes in food supply by migrating. Some move back and forth seasonally caribou migration annually to escape winter on the tundra hummingbirds follow the flowers and whales follow the pulse of life in the oceans. Other species make a single journey over the course of many years, salmon migrate from a mountain stream to the ocean and back again a trip European eels do in reverse.
