Nearly 2,000 years ago a Greek Astronomer named Ptolemy wrote the first books  Ptolemy described how he though the stars and planets moved in the sky. Ptolemy believed that Earth was at the center of everything. He thought the sun stars and everything else in the traveled around Earth.
