Rare Metals are in two rows of elements. The first row lanthandies are very reactive they are used in product like permanent magnets and hybrid cars. The second row actinded are radioactive and mostly man made like uranium and plutonium and are used in nuclear reactors and nuclear bombs. A man made element is not found on the Earth it has to be artificiality created.
