Collect seedpod and hollow stalks from the garden in the summer and stand them up in a jar  to dry in a warm airy spot. You will need a large darning needle to make a hole through the seedpods once they have dried the heads in the necklaces are made from cut lengths of dried stalks. Thread them using the darning needle and decorate them with paint. Gold and brown paint have been used on these heads to accentuate the natural look. Beads painted in bright colours  and decorated with glitter would make an attractive necklace.
