Moons

Moons

The outer planets

are orbited by

many moons. Saturn

and Jupiter have

more than sixty

moons each.In

addition, the moon's

surface is covered

in craters caused

by the impact

of asteriods and

the comets. The

average length of

the Moon's orbit

is 29.5 days. The

Moon probably has

a solid core, however

we do not know

for sure. In addition,

The dark side of

the Moon cannot

be seen from the

Earth. It was first

photographed by

a Russian space

probe in 1959.
