''Big Bang''

''Stars''

The Universe is

everything that we can ever know all of space

and all of time. It

is almost entirely

empty with small

clusters of matter and energy. Therefore the Universe is about

15 billion years old. However, estimates vary. The Big Bang explosion is how

scientists think

the Universe began 15 billion

years ago. Amazing Fact:

Scientists believe

that because both space and time with the Big Bang there may the possibly be no time before it occurred.

A star a ball of gas so hot

that it burns and glows.

The temperatures of stars

range from 3,812 F to about

90,012 F. The color of star it

is an indication of hot it is.

White stars are hotter than red

ones but some stars become even hotter and shine with a blue light. Amazing Fact:

It is estimated that

there are about 50,000

billion billion stars in the

Universe more than all the

grains of sand on all the beaches

of the Earth.
