- Now his enemies had no trouble taking him to their prison.
- Poor Samson He wasn't wise when be his friend.
- We need to be careful about the kind of friends we choose.
- In prison Samson's grew long hair again.
- One night his enemies had to a party.
- They brought Samson in and made fun of him.
- Samson asked God to help him once more.
- And God did. When Samson pushed against the pillars that held up the building down it all came on top of everyone.
- Those people all came on top of everyone.
- those people never hurt anyone again.
- Samson was the strongest man the Bible.
Story of Samson #1
· Samson grew up in Zorah.
· Around Zorah the Israelites had given in to the Philistine enemy.
· Samson was a rebel who never gave in.
· He fought a one man battle with the massive strength that God had given him.
· However, he was weak in other ways and cared more about himself than about God.
· Samson was a judge. Judge ruled over tribal districts.
· The Spirit of the Lord made Samson strongest man alive.
· With just his bare hands, Samson killed a lion.
· Samson used the jaw bone of a donkey to destroy 1,000 Philistine soldiers.
· That made the Philistine very angry.
Samson's Haircut Judge 16:4-21
· Samson fell love in a woman.
· Her name was Delilah.
· She asked what makes you strong. Samson At first he wouldn't tell her.
· Delilah begged and whined.
· Finally he said, If someone shaved my head I would lose my strength.
· When Samson fell asleep Delilah had someone to shave off his hair.
