Anne of the Green gables 19 the end

Anne sat for a long time at her

window that night. The wind purred

softy in the trees and the stars twinkled

cheerfully over the fields. Anne knew

the road before her had narrowed since

the night she came home from Queen's

But she also knew there would be flowers

of the quiet happiness along the path.

Nothing could rob her of her world

of dreams or of the joys of work and

friendship and there was always the

bend in the road. All's right with the

world Anne whispered softly.
