Dictionary and grammar 3

Across- Across means  from one side to the other. A bridge was built across the river.

Act- to act means to behave in some way. Sometimes Tom acts like a clown. 
Actually- Actually means really. Ann  didn't think she would like the party, but when she got there, she actually had fun. 

Add- To add means to put together Steve drew a picture of his brother then he added a funny nose and glasses. To add means put numbers together. When you add three and one you get four. 3+1=4.
