''Deserts''
Dry desert where the land gets less than two hundred fifty mm (millimeter) of rainfall in a year covers almost one-eighth of the Earth's surface (land or sea transportation rather than air underground and undersea transportation). In addition, many are hot but one of the biggest deserts is Antarctica. The biggest desert is the Sahara in North Africa at three thousand one hundred six mi (miles) across and up to one thousand three hundred ninety-eight miles from north to south. Hot dry deserts occur in warm areas where cool air sinks worms up and obserbs misture from land. The world's biggest deserts are shown here.
